MSP in GT4.

It's proboably going to be one of those "bad" cars that noone ever uses in the game...

*did not read all these posts.

About a year and a half ago I helped some company (I forget who it was, might have been Microsoft actually) with tech info on Proteges. This was for some new XBox game that was coming out. The person I was helping was completely clueless about cars and she was probably the worst person for that job. But I gave her everything I could about year changes and specs. The last I heard they were just going to use the Mazdaspeed.

Since then I have not been able to get ANY info on this game. I don't know the name, the company producing it, or if it's going to happen still.

The MazdaSpeed Protege will be in Forza

After looking at some pre-reviews it looks like what Jhew said might be right theres a lot of different cars and the physics of the game and overall play of the game is going to be really similar to GT4 but with better customization. Looks like its going to be a great contender

I agree with you Jhew

Forza is going to be better...

the only thing GT4 has up on forza, is a car list, but even that isn't very impressive because half of the car list in GT4 is repeats (like already mentioned with the RX7's), i think it is totally pointless of them to do that, but they want to have an insane amount of cars, and that is the only way to do it without taking up a shitload of memory... anyway, forza is supposed to have the most advanced 4 wheel engine to date, better than GT3 AND GT4, plus it boasts a decent car list itself at something like 250, plus the tunability of cars is far superior in forza than in GT4... at this point i think the GT series might start to fizzle out, many games coming out are very comparable to them and are starting to surpass them, at this point the GT series really doesn't have a lot going for it other than an immense following, but i think they are starting to loose their touch, and are looking towards the wrong area's of a car game, a TRUE enthusiast doesn't want 30 variations of a civic or 20 variations of an RX7, we want a well rounded DIVERSIFIED car list, and a good platform for tuning... if GT4 includes the probe GT, mx6, or the protege, i will buy it, simply because its the only game with those cars in them, but if it doesn't, i'm not even going to waste my time...

GT4 is all hype, i'll be suprised if its actually that much better than GT3...

no s***, i hadn't read anything else since the information that i listed in my previous post, they hadn't put up a car list yet, without a doubt i am going to buy forza now, i might just go put my name on the list today, thanks for more info on it (thumb)...

Have any of you actualy played forza? I played a demo for it and I was not at all in the least bit impressed. The physics are so ****** up its unimaginable. You hit the brakes, even with ABS, TCS whatever turned on, you just keep going straight until you let off them. And if you try to drive any car without those stability systems, you better be ready for oversteer from hell, even in a front wheel drive car.

I for one will not be buying it.

Maybe you just suck at it. I liked the demo, though I dont know how accurate the physics are (never tried to turn and break into a right hand turn at 145mph) they felt fine to me. Just takes a little getting used to compared to gt3. The breaks lock up very easily but you learn to get around that... Im getting it... And I bet you a Anarchistchicken will be at my doorstep waitng to play.

oh, so you mean it acutally compensates for high speed handling?? it doesn't hold your hand around the corners and make sure you dont slide out because you were going to fast for that curve?? personally i'm pleased to hear that, that means it IS more realistic and has a better 4 wheel physics engine... i've never played the demo but i've talked to a few people who enjoyed it, and from the reviews (official and unofficial alike) it sounds like it will be quite the game, and i can't wait for april to roll around...

and FYI, traction control has nothing to do with braking, so turning it on/off will not affect the way you brake, and the sole purpose of ABS is to make sure the wheels dont lock up, if you dont lock up the wheels, you should stop in a straight line, hypothetically, seems like its doing its job to me...

It was the creator that knew nothing? and you played it ?

Yeah wasnt it a woman collecting specs on cars who, from the story, had no ties with how the game would actaully play

I just read that GT4 will support 1080i, so I'm pretty excited about that.
