msp hoods?

A few people are running the Wings West hood here with no problems.

The Wings West hood and VIS Evo hood come with plates that you can attach so rain will not enter the engine bay.

Light rain shouldn't be a problem but I'm sure those like 505zoom can tell you how they like a vented hood and if it is a problem.

I dont know if they are still in business though, their updates are like 2 years old?

Sorry, but I think CF looks too ricey. Maybe if I was still in high-school I'd feel differently. Honestly, those cheesy-ass fast and furious movies made me never to want my car look like that. And why do they all look like something off an EVO? Can no one make something unique, but not uncle bens?

I agree with the CF statement ... but the EVO hood looks sweet ... its all personal prefs.

i personally like the cf hoods, as you can see by my sig. but like others have said, if you want a different look get an evo hood like mine or the dgm hood and just paint it.

Now, that looks better...kind of WRX-ish, but alot cleaner than the rce-evo.

Not a fan ... looks too small ... not (dare i say) ricey enough. Looks kinda like a hood scoop off a neon.

ok im with the orignal post i think my msp would be sick with an sti style hood scoop. The way i see it ive got one rice mod to spend and i want a big hood scoop (functional for engine cooling). plus im not an evo fan. ( sti lover)

i have a paint and body shop that i go to for repairs (like the girl that pulled in front of me...whole damn front end look nasty) , and they do really good work, so i was considering purchasing a fiberglass hood scoop, and seeing if they could cut out a section of the stocker, mold in the scoop, and repaint everything. would that be a feasible option?
