4. My Loud music obsession: new subwoofer[FONT=Ar[/QUOTE]

Sounds more like maintenence than mods, but welcome to the board anyway.:)

Damn Zoom that is crazy good job! You are living all of our dreams (boom05).
Just make sure to keep us updated on all your dyno's and drag's so we can live it with you heh.

Also that is cool how you are getting the CF Trunk, I didnt know they made one of those for our cars. Any idea of the weight reduction on that sucker? Also do you still have the stock backseat or have you taken that out too.

Werd.

I haven't weighed the stock trunk or the CF one yet, so I can't say for sure what the savings are on that. People are speculating about 20lbs though. I still have the backseat, I'm not building a pure drag racer or I wouldn't have bought this car.;) I am going for an all around sick car that will include A/C, seats, and everything, lol.

Also, I have the best weight reduction possible, a driver that weighs only 125lbs.:)

Heh thanks for the info I feel the same way about my car. Where are you ordering the VIS Trunk anyway cause I did a little searching and I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Ans you got me beat on the weight reduction Im a 6' 0" at 140lbs.

Watch that VIS s*** man, myself and skilletrx got the CF EVO hoods and there are small bubbles in the clear or reasin. Skilletrx tried to contact them to get a new one or something and they told him he had to pay to have it shipped to them and they would send another or something like that. I would of never bought it if I new it would be like this. It doesn't line up right and the drivers side sits higher than the fender and won't go down.

Bigg Tim- That is the nice thing about getting stuff from an authorized dealer... I won't take it out of their store unless it is perfect.:) I'll let the shop deal with VIS if there is any problems with the trunk, they will have more leverage than I.

That really sucks about VIS not taking care of you guys though, when my first WW hood cracked they sent me another one that day. I got it in less than a week, at my front door. When I noticed that the replacement hood had some sort of dust in the clearcoat, they sent a truck to pick it up, and I had another new one in 2 weeks. I didn't pay a dime for the extra shipping. VIS should get of their asses and take care of their customers.

Wilsman00- I got the trunk for just under 500, shipped to SEP.

Ah thanks for the info that is a pretty good price. For some reason I thought it would be a lot due to the shapes, but then again I dont know jack about how CF is laid down. Very nice price indeed. And the stock one looks awfully heavy so I would hope itd be 25+ lbs but who knows.

Im not into all the interior CF bling like some people do but I greatly appreciate weight reduction when it comes to big parts. Do you know of anything else for the protege series? I belive Ive seen some cars with door panels and all that. And some website (forget which one) has that Protege5 full front end in CF or Fiberglass, way cool. Any plans to get anything else like this? If it even exists that it.

I haven't seen the door panels before. The full CF front end is DGM, it is not intended for street use though. I might get the rear valance and front lip, but I am undecided at this point.

Yeah I saw those on the site. But I saw that as more of a bling bling thing than a performance upgrade. I have other things I'd rather spend my money on.

And for all you pond lovers out there:

The pond plants are really taking over.:)

I decided to go with RealTurf for my lawn, so it will be a couple of weeks before the yard is done. Cool thing is though, they are running a special on their putting green turf so I am getting a 350 sqft putting green when they do the lawn.:D I also will never need to mow or water my yard, which is a good thing out here in the desert.

H

sweet pics rich. Cool chimenea too, we sell the mexican pottery chimeneas . pOND LOOKS GOOD MAN GROWING NICELY .

Awesome... Does that DG Carbon Fiber cover with the stock MSP mounting studs or do you have to use their kit?

Things are looking good!
