MSP getting some more upgrades!!!

Almost... the intake requires modification, but you know that.:) Just making sure everyone knows that you have to change the intake to make it hook up to the 3" compressor inlet.
Right, I should have been more clear.

IF you are using an aftermarket intake all you will need to change is the silicon coupler that attaches to the turbo inlet. The factory inlet is 2" while the GT28RS is 3".

In may case with my ION CAI I just needed to purchase a 2.5" to 3" reducer coupler to replace the 2.5" to 2" reducer coupler that was there.

What about the Injen? must be a 2" to 3" am I right?

Yeah if I got a new turbo with 3" inlet you better believe I would get a new intake to match that 3".

MAF is 2.75", and the injen piping is also 2.75". I will be cutting off the solid end of the injen that reduces down to the factory turbo inlet. Then I am just adding in a 45 degree silicone coupler that reduces from 3" to 2.75". Unless you plan on getting a larger MAF, adding that extra .25" won't gain you anything.;)

or u can do like i did. use the part of the injen that goes in the fender, and use a 3 inch coupler. and it points right above the cold piping on the intercooler. but i got a blow thru meter also?!? so maybe u wouldnt want to do that. just a opioion for someone.

Oh cool I missed that part. I got the impression that the injen was 2.5 all around, my bad.

Couplers are here, and so is the zaino kit.:D I will have more pics soon.

good s*** rich.

quick Q for you. I just got my pwr radiator today. I am having bit of trouble getting the radiator cap off. Did you have this prob too? Also, if i want to upgrade to a 1.3 bar radiator cap, do you know which one i need? The one for the autos or the one for the manuals?

Everything looks good man!

The internals going in too?

Thanks Bryan. I had the same problem with the cap man. The first time I took it off it was no problem, but when I went to install it the cap was stuck. Just be patient and try different combinations of force while you twist... mine eventually came off. I am wondering the same thing about which one we need, I think we need the auto... I know that jrod knows the answer to that one.

I still don't know when the internals are going in. I still need the hardware and headgasket, and money is getting tight right now. For now it will be just the turbo, and I'll see what I can do with that.:)

awesome!

im guessing corksport is the best place to get it?

and dont worry about internals yet man. That turbo is good for 10-11 psi on the stock pcm let alone the mpi tuner.

Yea, corksport stocks them. I will see how high I can go with it before she gives out.:)

do you already have a spare block?

and is there any better place to get that cap? its 32 bucks!!

I think CS is the only place, since its a MS part. I didn't realize is was so expensive. Ask Linux where he got his. He's got the AWR unit, but it also uses the auto cap IIRC.

Yea, even if there are other places, I doubt it will be much cheaper.
