MSP getting some more upgrades!!!

With your set-up is 17psi actually efficent?? I imagine with all your supporting mods the turbo doesn't have to push as hard as with the stock intercooler and pipes..... I know I go slower if I go over 15psi.

Hmm, interesting. I think that you might feel that because of the stock IC and exhaust. The fact that mine can still cool the charge down at that boost level, and can get rid of it easier through the 3" exhaust makes it more efficient for me to run that kind of boost. The IC sprayer helps too.:)

My car most certainly goes faster at 17 than it does at 14 or 15.:D Sounds freakin scary too. You can really hear the turbo when it is turned up like that, especially with the aluminum intake.

hhhmmm I got the 3" exhaust I made one there..but I still have the stock intake too.... Maybe an intake is what I need, and of course the intercooler.

I can't imagine what your car would do with a custom IC and a SRI with APEXi filter. I would imagine that you would only get gains from it.:)

Yeah but it can't be faster than the scamp.

I did just get the 225/50/15 drag radials from ehawley today....So wednesday may bring about some 13.3-2-1 lol. Or another broken lsd.

wow, i just spent 2 hours lookin at this whole tread. You've changed my mind about this car that i own. last week i was planning on sellin it soon, but now, hmm IM DEFINTELY KEEPIN MINE! but i dont plan on doin all the beautiful goodies youve got. I think I have some pics of them side-by-side somewhere as well... but they look a lot like that. :D

505 definetly aims to please with this thread. Pages and pages of cool stuff AND ponds :)

I just wish he would install everything so we can see how it works. Is there any reason why you are waiting? If I remember correctly you must have like 10+ things waiting to go in followed by massive tunning :)

Good luck as usual!!

I just took a look at the T25 and GT28 side by side... is it me or they don't look like direct bolt-on to me? (assuming that the compressed air exits by the "square" end, the other end, the round one doesn't make the same angle withe the square one???

I'm comfused somebody help me understand!!!

They are indeed a direct plug-in. I have one installed on my car. The GT28RS is bigger, but everything still attaches right up to it.

56K BEWARE OF PAGE 9!!! LOTS OF PICS.

Yes, the parts are here!!!! It feels like christmas with all this stuff sitting here.:D

Over the next 2 weeks, my speed will be getting a lot of goodies. MPI tuner and injector setup, dual stage MBC, AEM wideband, Apexi EGT, and AWR mounts. I will be installing everything myself, with help from my friend at the machine shop, my local welder, and another friend who is a wiring/electronics master.:)

I will post pics of our progress. If all goes to plan, we'll get started this coming thursday when my friend at the machine shop gets back from colorado. I can't wait to see what this thing can do when tuned properly. I will be tuning one map for 10psi, and the other for 16psi.

I will be making 2 trips to the dyno, one after the gauges are in without the tuner and injectors to see what I'm putting down with just the bolt-ons... and then again after everything is in for a tuning session.

I most likely will also add an upgraded fuel pump, does anyone have any suggestions besides the walbro? After hearing how easy it is to install, I really want to upgrade.
nice (cool)

They are just clocked different in the pics.

Almost... the intake requires modification, but you know that.:) Just making sure everyone knows that you have to change the intake to make it hook up to the 3" compressor inlet.

Hehe, thanks man.

I am still waiting on a few parts to get everything in. I could do the clutch and flywheel now, but my clutch is still holding and I want to break the new one in when I break in the new motor. The pistons and rods are here, but I still need my copper headgasket and hardware for the build. The turbo is waiting on the new turbohoses couplers so I can attach the intake to the turbo.

It will happen... I am a patient person when it comes to this stuff.:)
