the turbo will survive, depending on how you drive but mo boost = mo turkey = hurting turbo. If you want your turbo to live longer kill the bird...plus you get something to eat for thanksgiving LOL
remember an upgraded BPV will not help you unless you get a larger diameter nipple on the hot pipe and intake...
The dual setup gives you the BOV pssssh + no idle issues that you would get just running a BOV alone
Yeah I know, I guess what I am afraid of is running too rich with the dual setup, unfortunately I do not have the mechanical know-how to change to change the nipple sizes on the hot pipe and the intake, Does the dual set up fix the problem or mask it by changing the noise?
It is eliminating the surge respectively, the dual set up only tricks the car into not stalling out. You only run (extra) rich right after shifts due to the ecu thinking it is seeing a "slug" of air that isn't there anymore. Our car runs rich all the time on a stock tune, Mazda's safety system.
ok so I have hard pipes and a unichip hooked up. if I add a bov to the cold pipe will I still run rich after shifting? I upped the boost to 8.5psi and don't want to ruin the turbo. and would this dual setup cause any turbo lag?
true but msp is all around a great car
I like my car but I was just looking at videos on youtube and I want an MS3 now. If only the msp could perform like that car. I wonder which one handles better. They had a video where the MS3 beat and Evo and and Sti. That car is a beast.
MAZDASPEED(all of them especially the speed6 and speed3) <33333333333333333333333 ftmfw and dont forget the fact that each mazdaspeed is limited in production, there are wayyyyy more evos and sti's on the roadI like my car but I was just looking at videos on youtube and I want an MS3 now.
