MSP down... this is what happens when people don't look

MSP back from near death experience

this is what happens in a kansas/missouri ice storm when there's a 15 car pile-up on the interstate and fat b*tch on her cell phone who doesnt seem to notice the 500+ cars sitting still and red and blue flashing lights all over! i decided to throw in a pic of her accord, and an aftershot of once it was fixed!

sorry guys, lots of crap going on on my end (plus I've lost the cable to transfer pics off the camera) I'll do what I can to get the pics up....at least she is on the road again (after tearing down the tranny twice)

What was the verdict on the trannny problem?

and finally as promised....pics are below. They are really bad as there was no light left for them to come out but you can see the color difference from the other pics from the accident. Also note the pass side...honestly you cannot tell that something happened without taking a look in the engine bay where the frame was repaired

this is all that is left to install...you can see from this pic that the FMIC bar took a mad hit...

Subbin to see the pics... sorta confused though... originally the repair was happening so fast there wasn't time for you to recoat parts. Now its been 2.5 months?

Haha... ninja'd by the pics! Lookin' good though, bro. Really glad they got your ride back from the dead!

stripped bolt on the flywheel that connected the pressure plate to the flywheel...caused poor mating of the disk and improper alignment of the pressure plate fingers. It explains all the problems on why I could not get it in gear and randomly I could get it in gear and the wheels would turn even though I did not let the clutch out.

Took a while to get done but its up and running now

the initial repair was done in probably under 2 weeks after the shop went on vacation for a bit then the car was in paint, etc, etc...I really never got a chance to tear the parts off the car to get coated as they needed the car running but I guess there were worse things that could have happened...oh wait they did LOL

Glad to see pics -- finally! ;)

So you've just got to reinstall the FMIC, and then the car will be good to go? Or are you gonna be pulling those parts off that you want to coat, coating 'em, reinstalling 'em, and THEN putting it back on the road?

she is technically already being driven around (never got rid of the old stock parts). but the current plan will be to get the FMIC back on and the rest we'll see where the money lands as I am completely tapped out now
