i just received an email from a parts manager at a local dealership w/ a reply to my request for pricing on an msp conversion. here are the prices:

side skirts - 200
rear skirt - 195
front skirt - 216
air dam/lip - 250

total = $861

but he also said that he would give me 15% off parts and labor so that brings the total to $731.85. sounds like a good price considering the wings west kit is $783 from protege5online.

ohh sounds good dude. hope this all pulls through, peace - chris

That sounds pretty good Nate. Talk with Jim Jorgensen at Berge Mazda in Mesa for paint. They are really good and reasonably priced.

wow that will look awesome... then you could sell your wheels and buy some MSP wheels from someone on the forum, or keep them?

You need a new grill too. And if you want to do it correctly you need two new fender well trims to match at the front under the bumper mask. Keep us updated.

matt, when will you realize that the wheels are just a statement of my individuality, and i will never part from them. lol i am planning on getting another set, either 18x7.5 gunmetal g-games 77 wolf's or 18x7.5 gunmetal volk racing gtn's.

thanks guys, i know about the rebar, splash guards, grills, etc. i just wanted to get an idea of what the "major" components of the conversion would cost me and go from there. also, i thought you only needed the rebar because the fog lights wouldn't fit w/ my stock one. since i'm going w/ the 03.5 lip and not running fogs do i need it.

pirana, that is what i am currently trying to find out. from 1garnetredlx's thread it costs $205 so i hope i won't have to

i need a new rebar.. . . .but not that bad. . it's kinda bent . . .but not bad enough to worry that bad. . ..i thought the bumper cover rested ont he rebar

you also need the p5/msp bumper if you don't have it, that 250$ for the lip is just for the lip nothing else. the lip won't fit your es
