MSP chat room-

Hey guys, since weve got such a thriving forum here, i figured why not have an IRC chat room to go with it.

Would be free, easy to access, and it can be moderated.
If you all think its a good idea, i'll create a link,and register a channel!

What should i name it?

Gimme some feedback,and i can have it running tonight, so everyone can chat and share more MSP knowlegde and fun.

sounds cool id go with msprotege, but you may have to ask for permission first, what server would we be connecting to dalnet?

well, see if you can find a server thats maybe dedicated to cars maybe be a big help maybe we could get introduced to some more vendors that may be willing to help and further the community who knows.

id register it on irc.mircx.com so people that use IRC can use it, and also, i'll create a link on chat.cjb.net so people that wanna use java can.

Everyone, id suggest downloading mIRC, or fractalscript, or some other actual irc client to chat in, since you can click links, etc,plus its more customizable to your liking than java chat.

Im not home right now to register the channel, but i'lltry to go ahead and get it running by 11pm EST.

I was actually thinking of designing a site dedicated for MSP,s ONLY. I like this one a lot but, its very slow and is only a message board. I could design a site not only with a message board, but with all sorts of media and news. Personal image galleries for people to showcase what they got. Streaming video and audio for people with camera,s. Even assign people with moderating and administrating priveleges for certain areas. We could even have a live dedicated chat room up 24/7, and of course an IRQ channel. I just think that the MSP is a one of a kind car and it deserves its very own community.

I have a few actual servers sitting here that would run the site faster than lightning. And id host it at my office (OC3, and T3 lines) so it would never be slow for anyone.

Anyway, tell me what you guys think. This isnt a dream, i could make it happen pretty soon if enough people were interested.

no offense but i like the community as a whole, if you want to do something like that i'd get with the owners of this site and possibly merge with them and help eachother make this site be the best it can be.

if you stop by, register your nick with nickserv so i can start autovoicing, etc.

also, if you enter as guest, /nick Nickname to change your nick
to register a nick type /msg nickserv register password emailadress

to id a nick once its registered: /msg nickserv identify password

id recommend going and getting mIRC or something, and once you set it up once, its much easier to come chat!
