I'm just going by what the body shop person told me. Anyhow, on the stcker on your door jamb, It has the body color number near the bottom...I believe it's 26s, but check to be sure.Horse said:Close - Its base then MICA then clear. not pearl and not metallic - its mica flakes.
Huh? I've got three bottles Mazda sent me for filling out some survey.evolv said:Mazda never made any touch up paint.

but there they are as close as possible. This is only the base yellow. You need a dark (black I think) undercoat and a clear coat finish.
Use this yellow for paint chips and when dry, cover with clear nail polish.

You need to have them contact mazda and order the "paint-pack" with all three paints. That's the only way to assure a perfect match. And don't let them give you that "well, your car has faded over time, and the new paint makes it look that way" horseshit.sjeffrey said:I got hit by a car this christmas, cracked the bumper and dented the driver side wheel well. They replace bumber and well, but now the paint doesn't match. It's too yellow and not enough "orangy"... I need to go back and have them fix it cause it looks stupid, I'm really pissed about this. Anyways, should it be ok if they use they paint mixed mentioned above or is that only for touch ups? Could it be just that they didn't use the right primer?
