ya know what boost-(getsome) (thumb) nice job brotha. there are some advantages to living out in the woods. i've been looking into an alarm with auto-start for standards. i wish i could find the link. should see if we could get a group buy going on it. one of the best mods one could make if you ask me. then again i don't think mines going to get broken into or stolen sitting in my garage. crazier s*** has happened though:mad:

Aye Twizted. Im looking into an alarm add on to where you can track your car from any P.C. It will tell you the speed of the car even. I saw it on a NSX in the May Import Tuner. I would like to have that just for piece of mind.

agreed, same reason here...mine just looks like a black protege with a body kit or something that some dumbass wouldnt know what mazdaspeed protege is anyways.

I have had mine for about two weeks now and I still watch it like a hawk! If anyone even looks at it the wrong way I am over there talking to them to find out if they are simply a admirer or some lowlife. It is a good thing that this car hasen't had a crap load of press or they wwould be getting riped off more. It is that whole damned limited production thing. What a love hate relationship that is!
PS Is the factory alarm even that good? I mean will it make noise if a window is broken or is it just a panic botton thing?

I was trying to get an auto start with my alarm, and I couldn't find anyone that would do it for a reasonable price...As far as using it for an extra level of safety, are you saying that you cannot hot wire the car if it has an auto start function?? Am I way off on what you meant by that??
