MSP 3.5 lip With Fogs?

blackp5, can you write up a How-To on how your install was done? It'd be very helpful for the rest of us who wants to perform this modification. Thanks. =)

the install is pretty straight forward.
the lip is a direct fit, all you have to do is remove foglights and foglight brackets, get the lip painted, attach it, you might have to remove the bumper to attach it because there is very little space to put your hand in between where you have to screw the nuts on, other than that, it's pretty simple.

Last night i sat in bed, unable to sleep again....long story, and I started thinking about other cars that have fog lights, that are round, but small enough to fit without getting too small, and then I thought of

Mazda 3. Look at the ones on both the sedan and hatch....whaddya think?

do you guys think, if msp lip or autoexe lip will cover my damaged area of front bumper???

yes i think it will.....check it out!
the lip goes all the way up to that line on your bumper!

that pic shows the dg lip only covers the bottom of the bumper. . .his damaged part is the side of the bottom of the bumper. ..i would think that the mazdaspeed one would it the trick though. . .. .or you could justify some sort of body kit now

Nah man, your wrong ... the AUTOEXE or DG lip would would cover it .... The top portion of his DG lip is painted to mtch his body color, so it looks like it would not work but there is more to it then you see.

awesome. .. my bad yo. . .well then tha'ts a good deal. . . maybe i should **** my bumper to justify stuff. . .at least for me that's how im basing most of my upgrades in my car

Thank you guys
I'm trying to decide whether I should get msp lip or autoexe lip :)
maybe I should use some bondo to fix'em up little with paint then cover with lip? :D

yea bijou it should cover most of the damage. there may be a little bit of the top of the crack in your stock bumper showing a little bit, but i think either of the lips should cover most of it.

i dont know about other opinions, but i say this with experience from seeing the kit on a car in person. i also think 1FASTMP5's opinion should count as well since the picture of that kit is on HIS car.

ya....its kinda a bad pic for an example
but ill see if i can get a better one up for ya.:D

i found one....look and the pic
and you'll see that the lip goes over the bottem
part of the bumper.
from the bottom of the fog lights down
and then wraps around the side and
fastens in the factory holes in the fender well.

Now, I have to see if msp lip also cover my area~ he he:D

Hey Bijou-MP5,

Here are a couple more pics for you to see just how much the AutoExe and DG lips will cover. I took these before I got mine painted so you should easily see where the lip is and isn't.

Newf, once again you take the important issues at hand and root out possible solutions. You are my hero! j/k. I was thinking that the problem as far as it relates to the MP5 is that it would have to probably be custom made that that would cost $$$. Im still hoping to see someone with fogs on a MSP with pics, but I guess thats just a pipe dream at the moment.

Everywhere I drive now, I'm looking at other cars fog lights, wondering how big they are.

The Mazda 3....we won't know until it's out. I think their more oval'ish too.

I had a set of p5 lights thrown in with my speed. Thing is, I never ever got them. I'll have them shortly though....long story. I was going to try fitting them in there using some sort of dremel technique, but after seeing those pics of the fogs in the lip....forget it. I'll sell my oem lights, keep the stock switch, and find some other ones.

it's not a priority for me right now. But I am looking around. Even if it's an older car, maybe we can rip them off of a junk'r somewhere.

One thing you would have to be careful of is the back of the fogs. The P5 fogs are flat correct?? Alot of others may have rounded backs. Just food for thought while the wheels are turning.
