Exactly. There has been several times when kids in Cavaliers or even saturns have kept zooming past me trying to get me to race them. Then I give them a quick burst of speed in 2nd or 3rd gear to show them that they don't want any. Then they fly past me with the flashers on. (rofl) I just can't help but to think, "are they really that dumb?"Stormtrooper77 said:I just kind of laugh at these racing/kill stories because how exactly do you know that the other guy is racing? Do you have a remote camera in his car?

jaje said:beating a v8 stang isn't that big of a deal as they run high 14s due to its heavy weight
this is a funny statement coming from a guy who is claiming that a slightly mod'd msp owns stock s2000stritonheat1 said:So your saying you can beat a 00+Mustang GT??? Also Mustang's don't run high 14's they run Low to mid 14's Stock. I don't know where you got your #'s from but, you need to do some research on car's before you start Misinforming thing's.![]()

BTW: I might seem bias regarding the S2000, but I think it is a b**** car!
Now with that said. I can tell you right now, I have driven and I have raced an S2000. Just because you have an over priced 4 banger that a S/C miata could spank for half the money, doesn't mean you know that much!
All of you Honduh owners are the same.
Examples:
VTEC RULES!!!!!!
I just go into VTEC and boom! gone!
I raced this Ferrari and he had a taste of my VTEC when I shot past him!
You should have seen the look on his face when he noticed that I had VTEC!
No MSP can beat me because I have my God Damn VTEC!
If a car doesn't have VTEC then it is just slow!
Shiznet that bastard thought I wasn't runnin VTEC until , BOOM, I hit VTEC and rocketed past the fool!
All of you are exactley the same! I don't give a **** about VTEC. dual lobes on a cam shaft that maximize an engine throughout the RPM range. Who Cares? I don't! You bring your overpriced 4 banger with the ultimate VTEC and we will race. I am not telling you that I can beat you stock, but I can make sure that you know that you spent too much money on the VTEC when I am still next to you or close to you by the end of the 1/4 mile. That is why I say that a modified MSP WILL most likely smoke the all mighty VTEC S2000 girlie car.
Thank you all and have a great night dreaming of VTEC...
ignorance is bliss with this guy...and he calls himself "formula1" where variable valve timing was developedFormula1 said:Hey flaming Ben,

F1 pioneered turbo technology?...the first turbocharged engines were first produced by Daimler Benz in the early 1900s (F1 didn't exist back then...it wasn't until 1950s when what we can call F1 appeared)...in fact F1 didn't use turbos until the late 70s through the 80s...F1 never invented the turbo nor pioneered it...however as with most forms of racing such as rally, etc which also had turbocharged competitors it did improve the technology...we are also forgetting CART in the 90s which also helped improve the technologyFormula1 said:Jaje,
I don't recall directing any comments to you. But if you want to defend flaming Ben then do so. Your TSX, yeah, smoked one the other day. As for S2000, no problem through 4th gear. I am stock, and if you had an S2000 and you were here, I would put money on it. I never once said that variable valve timing was bad. It is great way to expand your powerband. All I am saying is that it is not the end all of engine technology. Formula 1 also pioneered Turbo technology, but you failed to include that in your response. Of course I am not keeping count concerning the ignorant remarks that you have made. I find this forum amusing and entertaining. As for half the s*** that comes out of most of you, I could care less. For all of the people that have raced a S2000, I will give them credit. Stock vs. Stock, there is no doubt that the S2000 will win, but from experience, a slightly modified MSP willl keep up with one with no problem.
I will await your response. I enjoy the comments. All of you are cheap entertainment. Keep up the good work. LOL

did you even tend to ask what elevation they are running at, what the temperature is?...these are racing conditions that dictate how fast a car can go and not what a magazine can get with hard launches and complete abuse of the car...a stock gt won't run low 14 1/4s in real life without help (sorry but its true...at the drag tracks it's high to mid 14s and that's with the typical removal of spare tire, jack, mats, sometimes backseats, etc...magazine tests are poor as some cheat so they get better times and claim they can wring out more performance out of a car...a stock camaro can run low 14s stock as it has a lot more torque than the stang (stang has a better breathing engine that the ancient pushrod v8 in the camaro...but here cubic inches and old school experience win in the 1/4 miles)
my car runs 6lbs of boost running through a t3 super 60 (i good midrange and high end turbo) and stay with stangs and camaros often beating them (depends on how hard I launch the car)...in a road race at only 2,800lbs versus their 3,500lb girth its not a contest
