On my why to work this morning on miramar road, i was stop at a red light, and a red s200 pulled up next to me. I couldn't see the driver because the windows were tinted. We were on a little slope so i started to hang on the slop, i wasn't trien to start sumthin i just wanted to hang on the slope. Then the s200 started hanging 2 so in my mind i was like great here we go, so we both started off quickly, didn't launch at all, we both were even around 1st and 2nd gear but once the s2 hit third he pulled like a car and a half then 2 cars, but the wierd thing was around 4th i was gaining on it just a little. I told this to a friend and he told me that S200 lose alot of power top end. Well i am kinda of happy that i didn't get work.... i'm all stock, so ........i'm happy

do you mean top end like 120+ mph, or top end rpm.
Cuz I think they make a lot of thier power in the top end of the power band

there's no way an s2000 will lose power at the top end. its redline is 9000rpms, its peak power comes on AFTER 6000rpms. if you're talking top speed, it's got you beat there, too. he was probably either letting off the gas after he toasted you by two car lengths or he missed a gear. there's no way an msp can hang with an s2000, in the straights or in the twisties.

we came out of a turn from a light i didnt know if he was gunna go with it but i beat him by 1/2 a car length we got pretty high in speed but for the most part we were dead even. i speak the truth i wouldnt lie i was excited as hell afterwards!!!

so how tight was this turn and how far ahead were you or was he ahead? and this 1/2 car length, was he behind you the whole way? what speed did you get up to? thanks. cause if you can beat an s2000 in a 9psi boosted msp with CAI, i think i'll be able to take them with the flying protege turbo.

hmm i dont think an MSP can take a S2K..its like saying my DX took a 350Z..

i was stopped at a light that had a 90degree turn he was already accellorating through the turn so i caught up to him and in 2nd gear we were cruising then we both punched it we were neck and neck almost the entire time then i pulled by 1/2 car length before the next light it was great!!

i dont think that the s2k was going WOT if you actually beat him. I've seen an s2k in action, and an msp, and im sorry, but the MSP wont touch the s2k... unless something was seriously ****** with it. But **IF** you did, good for you
