That's not true man, there are some people who build their cars solely for looks/car shows, so buying springs for looks isn't ricey.

Plus there are some people with megans on the mazda6 forum and they seem to like them and say they handle like stock but stiffer?

I'd need to see that guy's car and go for a ride in it to judge for myself.... everyone has different preferences and tastes in cars... I might like them, or I might hate them.
