MS6 forged engine build?

I want to put in my engine aftermarket forged rods and pistons. Pauter and Arias.

My mechanic told me that I only need the parts of course (Rods, rod bearings, pistons,rings) + the full engine gasket set.

But he also told me to find out if the factory block have to be rebored for clearance of the new pistons or not?

Depends on how many miles you have on the motor, and how much wear there is.

I am curious as to what your mechanic is charging for labor and how long it would take from having parts in hand, to cranking that beast up.
