Exactly. MAM posted recently that they were getting theirs in Sept. I know that our production is before the US production so I was just wondering whether they were still being produced in August or whether the latest news (^^^see earlier posts in this thread) were accurate in saying that production had been pushed back until Sept.

Rainman,

It appears that mid-late sept is still on target for canadian release...however I wouldn't base a purchase on such predicitions, and would wait until more then a few cars have hit dealerships before getting excited.

honestly, after owning the mp3, then the MSP, I would NOT buy this car right away.

Let them hit the road, see what's wrong with them first if anything. Mazda's track record hasn't been that great, and when I see delay after delay, it just hints of something not working right or being rushed in the end.

my advice, wait.

I ordered a MazdaSpeed6 in January for invoice+$500. Of course, I've been a pretty good Mazda customer over the past sixteen years....... I finally gave up following delay after delay after delay, and cancelled the car :( With gas prices the way they are today, I'm glad I did!

they will nose dive just like the MSP did and i will buy one in 2007 with 15k on it for $14000

Just got a photocopy of a internal message last week stating that the Canadian MS6 should be available mid-Oct. I have waited so long now (almost 1 year) that I can't NOT buy it! Although I have been thinking about gas prices. s***, I have been crying at the pumps recently. Trying to keep out of boost as much as possible...LOL!

Has anyone seen or heard any modifications to the speed 6 during its late late arrival? I saw a test mule of the speed3 in sports car mag and they added a fugly makeshift scoop on it. Think mustang mach 1 but huger than the subies.

and to answer the remarks about 120...it's not the size of your balls but the balls on the person who doesn't judge distance and speed of other drivers before pulling out in front of them already doing 20 below the actual posted speed limit.

Didn't notice any incoming anytime soon on the inventory list at my dealership. It keeps getting pushed back, but maybe that's not a bad thing since the first drives of it back in March were kind of lukewarm.

I have a feeling the whole tmic with the lets let air from the grille cool it idea didn't go as planned. The 3 "possibly" inherited a fugly hood scoop to give of the image that it was a bad idea.

yupyup The hood looks a little awkward to me and while 274hp/280 lb-ft is cool, 3500+lbs is not.

The internal letter stated that the delay was largely to address modifications likely prompted by the lukewarm reception.
