2006 Black Mica MS6 GT + 2007 MS3 (2003.5 Yellow MSP = retired)
I was just speaking to my dealer this afternoon asking when my MS6 was going to arrive. They told me that they would be finding out on Friday when their first shipment (read: my black on black leather with sunroof) would be arriving. They are expecting it to arrive in the first week or two of August.

I know what the MSRP for this car is but currently it has no APR for leasing. Do any of you Mazda sales types have this info yet? I would greatly appreciate any info on this topic.

Thanks,
R

My understanding from my dealer is Money Factor rates are yet to be established. But will be released by FOMOCredit when the cars hit the dealers. keep your fingers crossed for a nice high residual.

Your dealer is lying to you.

The first (Run 1) of the MPS 6 isn't slated till august. This means the earliest you'll see the cars is september most likely....but considering the delays from importing and all that jazz, a better "expecting" date, is currently october/november.

This is of course baring any additional delays, which seem to be constantly slapping the MPS 6 in the face.

Damn it, your in canada again. All above info is for US shipments.

Yeah. From what I understood, we were supposed to be getting our shipment a month or two in advance of the US shipments.

I don't think mark up here in Canada is that extreme, at least not that I've seen.

sweet!!! I can buy one in couple years for 20k with rebates when they are sitting on the lots.

Just like what happend to the msp and msm.

Are they even allowed to mark up the price by even over 1000$?

they marked up the first miatas by over $3000 and thunderbirds were known to go for over $10000 above sticker

Ya especially considering the first batches are extremely limited. If you want one right away, your going to get utterly ***** in pricing. If you wait just a few months though, after the inital rush, you'll have some ground for negotation. Though I hear in canada they don't really drop the price much anyway.

They probably won't drop the price, but their also not allowed to charge over MSRP in Canada either. So you don't have to worry about getting *****. I just talked to my sources at Mazda Canada yesterday, these cars HAVE NOT been built yet. Sorry Rainman, but your dealer has BSed you again. The Candian MS6's are slated for August production, same as the U.S.

Here in Ottawa i already know that the MS6 will sell for the MSRP. There will not be any markup on the car. MSRP is $38795 CAN which makes it cheaper than the Subaru Legacy GT which is $40295.

I have test-driven the Subaru Legacy GT and actually had one ordered when I heard that the MS6 was being produced. I cancelled my order so that I could place an MS6 order. I really enjoyed the GT when I test-drove it but I have thoroughly enjoyed my MSP and I felt that the GT was a bit too refined to give me that same experience as the MSP. I did drive it back-to-back with the STI which was probably a bad idea...LOL, and this may have influenced my decision. Although the performance stats on the MS6 aren't as good as the stats of the GT my conversations with a local Canadian journalist who went over to Japan to test the pre-production model suggest that the car is much quicker than Mazda's numbers show. If it turns out to be a pig I can always rade it in for a GT. I haven't really considered any other options as I ca't afford the STI and the Evo VIII is not admissible in Canada.

damn skippy! SRT-4,6,8 and 10 are all marked up due tue it's specialty vehicle status. It's a common practice, at least in md and va. TX the cars are noticably cheaper :(

Man Fu** Mazda ....I won't be Assraped by them, but you can go ahead

MPS 6 was just delayed again. Build dates for US orders are now in september.

Looking for the car in dealers in oct/nov/dec. (IMO it'll be dec/jan). The mx-5 arrival has pushed the MPS 6 out of priority.
