i have no credit im 18 all i have in my credit history is a credit card that gets paid off monthly.. last year they couldnt find a mazdaspeed3 vehicle to insure so we had to give them the vin and it came up as mazda3 sport wagon not ms3

being 18 and having a turboed car = bad news bears for insurance.

wtb 2nd time...thats why you upgrade mounts to save your self situations like that....and we know how mazda deals with us

yea tru. but some members went through what im going through now and got a pretty good deal from mazda. hopefully they give me better!!

I saw a white one today driving down Atlantic blvd in Long Beach. It was the 3.8 I think, had distributer plates on it. Looked pretty good.

the genesis coupe isnt available to the public yet, and dealerships arent getting them until "january" which in dealership speak means we probably wont see them till march.

and to clarify I do work at a hyunda dealership in the parts dept.

the genesis sedan is out, and is pretty much the hot seller for hyundai atm. Maybe you saw a test car?

Things sound awfully fishy to me about this whole situation. They couldnt find your car last year??? Whats that all about?? Id love to hear the excuse if you had gotten in a accident with it. "Well sir.. Im sorry but we cant find your car so unfortunately we cant fix your car!" And even if that was the case.. theres no way there could be a 1800.00 difference a year between the two cars! Id suggest looking for a new insurance carrier! Cause thats crazy! I know back when I was 19 or 20 I had a automatic 95 Eclipse GS.. not even a GST or GSX and the insurance company I had then charged me 235.00 a month for full coverage.. then 6 months later.. it went down to like 160 a month. So Id definitely check into this or get a different insurance carrier.

(iagree)shop around and check out other companies before you drop your car....it would be a waste of moola.....check out prgresive and other....but don't even try statefarm or all state...they will rip even more

Try USAA. They got me a good rate and I only pay $95 mo Full Coverage w/ $500 deductible and I'm only 23.

the genesis is available for order right now. dealership price to you? $40k.

i'm sorry, but no matter how many times you wash it, it is still a hyundai.

I would absolutely agree on shopping around before ditching the car. But I can say that State Farm has always given me lower rates than GEICO, Progressive or anyone else would quote. Everyone is a different case, and every company will treat them differently. I also had Allstate when I was in high school/college, and they were very reasonable at the time.

Something I will suggest to anyone... shop around for a good deal, then stick with the company you choose unless they absolutely fleece you over something. Most companies give you discounts for loyalty over time.

When I started with State Farm, I had previously been with a small discount insurance company. For that reason, State Farm put me in their Fire & Casualty company, the equivalent of being designated "assigned risk." (If I had gone directly from another A-rated insurance company to State Farm, this would not have happened) Basically, I paid high premiums there for a year, then was transferred to State Farm mutual, where they insure real people. My rates dropped significantly right away, and continued to go down over the years as I kept my record clean.

yes. the sedan is in the mid 30s, to the low 40s.

As much as I used to hate Korean cars, the genesis is actually pretty nice. Modern hyundais arent the crap boxes they used to be. They are pretty reliable, and the only thing that goes wrong on these cars (hyundais) is little random things (sunvisor breaks, window switch goes out) tiny things that are easily fixed by the dealer (most under warranty)

The genesis is a completely new car and market for Hyundai. Its the first v8, and first rwd platform. Its actually a very nice car, and a nice alternative to lexus. The coupe on the other hand is also brand new.

RWD, FI 4cyl or v6 and its a coupe. AND its gonna go for the high teens to the low 20s. The tiburon was an epic failure. The coupe I think will sell nicely.

as bland as i think their other models are, hyundai has stepped up their game

bleh get rid of the thing already so you can quit posting on these forums about how crappy they are. go crap up another car forum, for whatever you get, about how unreliable it is. bye bye
