Pfft. *IF* these prices are even remotely close to reality, there's not a shot in hell I'm wasting my $$ on them, regardless of the cost and benefits. CAIs should not cost more than $200, I don't care what car it's for. A CB for $1,000? Hell no. I hope those parts sit on the dealers' shelves.

HEY EVERYONE I WAS LOOKING AROUND AND THERE IS A WEBSITE CALLED *************.COM AND THEY HAVE A TURBO UPGRADE TO A GT30 AND THEY GOT OTHER STUFF THER PLZ CHECK IT OUT I THINK THE UPGRADE IS AROUND 2500 SO THEY GOT THE MOST THINGS I SOW FOR THE MS3 CHECK IT OUT

Ritchie is a parts guy at Mazda here in Tampa and tells me they plan to release the parts January 19th. So from what he says we still have about a month to wait.

ya i talked to a friend that works at a mazda dealer in the parts department and they are going to be getting a aftermarket book of all the aftermarket parts for the ms3 but its going to be sometime after the new year but call ur local dealer's parts department and they would tell you if they got things out for it

If the CAI comes with a MAF sensor that could explain the price. I have a few tricks up my sleve that I want to try, I will know more soon.

That price sounds too good to be true. That sound like $350 for the CAI and $800 for the exhaust and $350 for installation. That would be about right for the regular 3 unless the dealer's selling to you at or below cost. Are you sure it's for the MS3-specific part? The part nos. are:
CAI # GRMS-8M-L29 appx $800.00
Exh. # GRMS-8M-L26 appx $1500.00

If a CAI could put the car in 300HP range it would have been done stock... took the LS2 engine in the corvette an extra liter worth of engine and a higher red line to get 100HP more and yet we are to believe 30 HP can be had by a simple nobrain cai... think Im going to sell some land out in the desert...
