ms3 tire advice

s**** a good deal and alot of tread life..grip and temp is A A...450 for a set of 4 is not bad..and i got a friend that will balance and mount them for 20 bucks

Do consider that a bad tire wont hold a good tread life and balance worth a s*** as it wears down. I havent used those Khumos but the price doenst mean a whole lot if the tire wear evenly and balance well toward the end of its life.

Spending a few more bucks is a better deal if the tire stays in good shape through its entire life.

Not particularly, but this is my first FWD car. Do you not rotate front to rear? (dunno)

I just give the guys my keys and say "Rotate please" and they do it. Never watched to see where things get moved to.

Edit: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=43

"On front wheel drive cars, rotate the tires in a forward cross pattern (fig. A) or the alternative X pattern (fig. B)"

And his new tires are only marginally wider than the old ones, so that shouldn't be a factor.

Yeah you can rotate that way but you were talking about putting wider tires on the rear and narrow on the front then rotating them to the front werent you?

Thumbs down (yupnope) cheap because its not GOOD YEAR or GOODRICH named tires...tire has to meet a standard to be able to sell it, tire life is longer because it is not soft...the tread on stock potenza we get is 200 maybe less? and s*** runs 200 bucks for 1..im getting the kuhmos when the time comes and i will be happier with few extra couple hundred in my pocket
