MS3 Sound While Accelerating

Mazda Speed3
Hey Guys i recently baught a 08 cosmic blu speed3, recently hit about 430 miles on the odometer. OK, well straight to the point whenever i go from a full stop once letting go of the clutch and pushing the gas i hear a sound coming from the wheels. I wouldent say grinding because thats too high pitched for it this was like a low pitched sound, sounds like the wheel is stuck on the brakes while your accelerating (i dont think theres a problem with the brakes though just using it as an example) well if anyone has had this problem before can someone tell me what it is so i can tell the service department?

how hard are you accelarating? look at your roters make sure there are no vallys in them brake pads can have defects in them that where the roters down. you might jack up both sides and try rotating the tires and see if anything is binding up. and if your going to the service counter tell them exsactly that thell try and do a test drive.

This is a problem alot of people were having when they first got their cars. It usually goes away after a few thousand miles. I think there is a TSB out now for it though, I believe I read that on the "other forum". The guy said the Mazda techs just turned his rotors down a bit.

I had this same problem and it was a little annoying but it eventually went away and I haven't had any problems.

Come to think of it, I had like a mild grinding sound, just after driving hard or very long. But yeah it did go away.
I did take it to the dealer of course he heard it for less then a sec. but then he said if it get's worse to bring it back. But it never did, so oh well.
Side note: I f-ing love this car. I mashed on a modded 240sx....the end(rofl)

i had the same thing...give it about 2k it will go away...i think its just cause the brake pads are slightly thick for the configuration...atleast thats what my dealer told me.

Mine lasted to about 7500 miles occasionally. Mazda could never figure it out and never replaced a single part.

I have a similar problem. I notice it the most when the wheel is turned to an extreme and I accelerate. Its a grinding whine. I thought brakes at first but think it has more to do with one of the axels, CV or the diff.

I cant get it to repeat on demand so I doubt any dealer is going to think I am sane. May have to print this post out.

FWIW I just hit 800 miles.

Yeah I had it but it took a long while before it showed up. It only happened twice though and never again. It should go away on it's own. Or you can have the dealer take a look anyway.

I want to say it's the brake pads on the rotors because I would get the grinding noise when I turned my wheel as I was letting of the brakes and giving it gas. Mine went away about 1500 miles. I figured the pads needed sometime to settle on the rotors, but it does go away.
