MS3 shocks same as Mazda3 shocks?

Quick question guys. As the title states are the the 07 MS3 shocks the same as the 07 mazda3 shocks? Imy rear shock failed and my dealer always hasissues confusing MS3 parts with Mazda3 for whatever reason. I just want to see it there's any chance of them installing the wrong shocks or if it doesn't matter. Thanks in advance.

I don't see how your service dealer can make such a mistake coz the part #s would not be the same.

From the text of your post, I'd say they'll try installing the wrong shock. They probably should be replaced in pairs, too.

a competent dealer should be ordering replacement parts for a mazdaspeed vehicle using the VIN number. there can be little to no confusion then.
