MS3 Seats in MZ3?

This is a repeat of a thread I made in the MZ3 forums.

Does anyone know if there is a significant difference in body hugging capabilities of the MS3 seats compared to the regular MZ3 seats?
I want something that's an improvement over the regular seats and have been contemplating buying used OEM MS3 seats.
If anyone has changed them out, would they fit the brackets without the need to modify them in any way?

They are much better. End of story.

IIRC they will bolt right in. You might have to change out the brackets too, but its not a hard install. I guy local to me had a full MS interior swap in his MZ3. He had a hatch though, so there might be some differences for you. It should be possible, and a huge upgrade. Find some in a junk yard and go for it.

They are very easy to put in...the fronts and rears fit...

Wow. That's very cool. I guess it makes production cheaper if you only have one rear seat design.

Huge upgrade in terms of front seats! I had a '08 mz3 hatch and there is a big difference in hug-ability. I have a '09 speed3 sport now

I may do this. Not so sure. The seats are fairly pricey in really good condition. Gonna try to see if there are any junkyards around Atlanta that have newer cars when/if I get the time.
And car-parts.com of course. Lol.

Pricey...you can pick a set up for around $450-500 shipped...that is pretty cheap to me...

For seats, yeah. But considering that more than half of my paychecks are going towards my insurance and payments, it's a lot.
