MS3 Production date/build #

WHERE DO YOU FIND THE BUILD # AND PRODUCTION DATE FOR OUR CARS...THANK U IN ADVANCE

to my knowledge I dont think mazda has released that ifno yet

on the MSP it was in the vin number, but mazda had released a list of the vin number -> production numbers

There are no production #s. Somebody called Mazda NA in they said there are none. Production date is on the drive door, where you find the other stickers for tire specs, weight, etc.

There has to be production numbers but perhaps mazda isnt releasing that information like SVT did, which is surprising.

You can just call your Mazda dealer. They can pull your vin up and tell you the production date. That is how the recalls are decided.

my dealer gave me a sheet of recall info and my car and it has everything from build to engine number..its pretty crazy but i got a copy. maybe ill post on here, im sure you guys could get the same from your dealer

JoJo, the build date IS the production date.



The production date should be located in one of the papers when you brought the car. Usually the big paper tag that was on the car.

Mine is Jan 28, 2007.

like my car is #1352 out of 2750 (iirc) 03 msps

I know that. It's two parts to the question: production date and production number. I just answered the production date.

Now, like quite a few people stated, production numbers don't exist on our cars.

not true SVT release everything..
They have a 1800 number

then you get your exact build date and etc...my was built 08-16-98...



i wish mazda had this info

I'm sure they have the information, they could just not be releasing it or make it available. It would prettymuch be as simple as just comparing VINs. Now, I don't want to be the person who:

A) Decodes the Mazda VIN code
and
B)Finds every single VIN for the 2007 and 2008 Mazdaspeed3s.
