Speaking of that 1.8t, I am finding another similar characteristic. When I turn my MS3 on, I hear a very low tone popping sound. It's almost like somebody is tapping on the back part of the car. My GTi used to do the same thing...it's a turbo thing?
I never heard that when I had my Eagle Talon Tsi.
So, if it's being choked out because of the fuel, would putting on a freer flowing exhaust help this? I understand that the CAI leans it out due to the increased airflow. Or, is this more of a tuning issue and an aftermarket tuning processor like Access Port is the way to go.
Somehow, I keep finding myself leaning towards trying to justify that purchase and a dyno tune....(headbang)
