Rims: Wedssports SA-70, 18x8, 50 offset
Tires: Falken RT-615, 245x40x18

Tires do not rub on the struts or fenders but sounds like they hit the wheel well liner over really big bumps, or with 200lb of winter tires and rims in the back. Nothing to worry about in any event, unless you drive around with people in the back all the time.

The pictures don't do the rims justice, the car looks amazing in person. As well the tires look much meater in person. Anyhow I am very happy so far.

Let me know if the pictures show up, I just get red X's at work due to firewall.

Looks very good! Need some shine on them tires though!!
True, those were taken 5 min after getting home from the installation. Should be warm enough to give it a good clean and wax next weekend.

Damn those look sexy, and I usually don't even like black rims.

How much did that whole set cost ya?

dammit. Work blocks image sites. Can someone attach one for the ol swampster for at work viewing pleasure?

They are a darker grey colour, like a graphite.

Rims were US$329 each, tires were C$229 each. So around C$2,500 before shipping, duty, etc.

LOL, I would if I could, but I can't access the site they or view them on my work PC.

It's nearly time to go home anyways.

Here you go!

BTW, those wheels look great. From a distance it looks a lot like my car. I think 245s might be too fat/big for me. I might go with the 225s. I love the look fo the 245s though

I like the rims but i plan on getting 19x8 Work Meister S1's. I wonder if I go with the 19x8.5 with 50mm offset and 225's or 235's i wonder if it'll rub on a 1.25 drop.

Tire Rack informed me those wheels are discontinued

Go to www.wheeloptions.com, call their number and ask for Vick, I think they should still be open right now. I thought I saw some at the store when I picked my wheels up. He will give you a good price. Tell him Leo sent you.

I like the look, sweet combo :)

I miss my ol' RT-615's btw :( They were my favorite tires, they look killer....

Thanks man, Vick is workin on it.
FWIW these wheels aren't discontinued. Tire Rack just no longer carries them.

How much better do those 245's hold the road under hard acceleration?
Hard to say since I have not been on the stockers since the fall.

I would say about 10% better. But that is just a SWAG. I think the straight line grip is improved less then lateral grip. These tires have pretty stiff sidewalls which are not the best for straight line grip.
