MS3 hit in the parking lot

So I was parked and inside having lunch at a local dinner today and when I came out I see a large work truck parked up against the back of my car. I call the business number on the truck and give it to the company owner. He contacts the supervisor of the guys who's truck it is in my back seat and he rides out to see. The guys who were driving the truck come out of the place and see me standing there. I ask why they decided to pull so far over the line and drive into the back of my car and the driver replies. "Maybe you backed up into the truck you know how to drive a stick?" I was pissed at this point and I told him look at the line. (nuts) My back end was atleast a foot away from the line and his truck was over the line and sitting up against my bumper. He continued to be an ass about the situation and moved the truck there was not a ton of damage but the paint is cracked under the clear coat on the back bumper and his supervisor said to just get 2 quotes to fix it and they would pick up the bill for it. All has ended well thus far though the guy was a real jerk about it and was like its hardly even there. I told him to bite me it was a 3 week old car and to next time park away from other cars if your truck is that big. His supervisor agreed and they left. Now I have to go get quotes and get my bumper repaired, no pics though I don't have a digital right now though they did take pics, the supervisor did. I hate people sometimes... Ignorant.

wow, sounds like you lucked out by calling the number on the truck and waiting instead of going in and saying that so and so truck hit my car sounds like it could have been a lot worse...

ouch man that sucks! At least the supervisor came and is gonna pcik up the bill. Twice in my protege I got hit while parked and never found out who did it, so this could've been MUCH worse

that sucks, good thing you called them.

BTW, what is with all the MS3's getting hit lately, one hitting a pole, another a hit and run and now this....

tell me you got their insurance info as a secondary backup incase they decide to **** you over on it.

You should have called the police and filed a report for the insurance.

Yea like I said their supervisors were really nice and hooked me up so I got lucky with that but the guys in the truck were a-holes. They gave me a hard time and talked alot of trash till their supervisors arrived. The owner was told of their behavior and said they would be repremended for it. One guy went as far to tell me I was talking like a N!@@&r yet I am quite white and was not talking to them any way but normal. I did not get nasty with them did not use any slang terms or anything just pointed out the obvious. I will just take it from here and see what the damages are.

I have all the company's info I didn't want it to go on my insurance. I have everything I need to get it taken care of. Like I said the guys were a-holes not the rest of the guys from the company.

Well my friend has a brand new SI and he parks away from everything...He tries to park on the corner parks and very close to the curb, so far it works and not a scratch on the car yet...

ya i do that. I will park next to the curves. It decreases the chances of 1 out of 2 possible idiots.

Don't sweat it, my speed was backed into a week and a half ago after having it for only 3 weeks also. Little bit worse than yours though, I need a new outer door. Been in the shop since monday and not getting it back till at least mid week next week.
The guy that did it didn't even know he did it, but at least someone at my apartment saw and reported it, thankfully his insurance is paying the bill. Downfall is that someone else's ignorance has me driving some P.O.S rental. (bang)
Oh well, good luck to you!

Got the word its about $500 in damage and a good 2 to 3 days in the shop. It probly wont go in till monday but the $500 is all being taken care of by the company involved and then I will be back up and running.
