Wasa guys,
My ms3 gt is all blacked out with dark tint and I feel like when I stare at my car that it should have come with red brake calipers, especially since you can see the calipers very well. With all the accents and all the red stiching, it would look tight. I've noticed the wrx's come with red calipers. Anyways have any of you guys used the special paint you can buy at the autoparts store to paint your calipers. I heard you bake them in the oven...The right way to do it is to powdercoat I know but thats kind of a mission and I've always wondered about that paint.

I have used this. No baking, it is a catalyzed 2-part.

G2 and Duplicolor both make caliper paint kits
G2 requires a 24 hour cure time, no ovens not sure about the other

Powder coating would be a much bigger job. You'd have to take them completely apart so you won't damage the seals, etc from the heat

D'oh rotus beat me to it

Go to AdvanceAuto Parts. In their spray paint section there is a Duplicolor brush on it. It looks perfect...you dont have to mask at all if you don't want to. I used it on my car and SATimko's car and it looks great on both.

Also, it was only $15-20.
