Don't listen to these fuckers, I say go for it! Take a few of your buddies with you. Driving fast is fun and cool.
I want to see the video of you killing some one. Or the video of you getting your car taken and thrown in jail. Then I want to see the video of how cool you look. But then again YOU CAN DRIVE!!!!!(weakest)

This type of behavior is immature, idiotic, and puts the safety of innocent people in great danger. I do not want behavior like this promoted here.

Please exercise caution and judgement. A car is a deadly weapon and should be treated with respect.

For me DOING the speed isn't the dumnass thing. It's holding a camora and doing it, or the HIGH SPEED RAIN driving....(yupnope)
Guys like this that think they are some great race car diver because they can speed just tear me up. He sounds like the type of guy that you'll see running into another car at 100+.

I you do it do it right, by your self on with no cars, and both hands on the wheel. That way you only hurt yourself.
whats makes you think i was holding the camera, i had it velcro'd to the column.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i see we have our share of immature people though. i dont hate! (piss)

was i the only one who DID NOT ASSUME he was on the street? this could have been recorded on a closed course for all we know.. it could have been recorded in his garage with his front wheels suspended (dunno)

One is faster...but faster doesn't mean better. I've had 28 different motorcycles. Many of which I liked more than the hayabusa. Many of which are slow as hell.

:bs:, what column runs directly in front of the speedometer and moves independently of the vehicle?

my comment wasnt out of line, unnecessary or rude. anyone doing high speed runs on the street with any kind of tire is stupid. he mentioned hes seen some great circuit racing on the wet. thats where he should keep his high speed rain runs, not on the street.

honestly, I dont think any of us can "judge" this guy or any other MS3 driver for doing 100+. we can judge the conditions it was done in (rain, traffic, street etc.) but not the act of speeding itself.

yes its dangerous and many of us know better. HOWEVER, the car was advertised in serval magazines about how easily it pulls to its (IIRC) 155mph electronic limiter. that being said, can you blame the average person for buying it, and seeing if what they read was true?

some of us dyno to compare wheel hp with manufacturer hp rating, some of us go to the track to try and pull off advertised 1/4 mile times. others autocross to see what vehicles we can outhandle. with all that being said you know there are going to be some who try to do 160mph.

Nice run, took it to 140 once briefly and it had a lot more to go. It got up there pretty fast for sure. I was amazed at how stable it was too. The braking performance was equally impressive.

I don't know guys. I am too chicken to go that fast anymore. Husband pushed our Si once...almost going as fast as he could and I was freaking out the whole time.

i have no problem with someone doing a high speed run on an empty highway, but in the rain is senseless. you have no way to recover if you barely lose traction at those speeds. if youre crazy enough to push it in the rain make sure its off of public roads.
