MS Adjustable vs. MSP suspension?

Ok, ... I have a question hopefully someone can answer with some actual experience/factual knowledge.

I have the AWR 19mm bar, and Racing Beat Springs (on stock struts). I need to replace my struts, but here's the issue.

Do I go spend almost 700 for the mazdaspeed struts, or should I try and get the entire mazdaspeed suspension (maybe closer to 1000)? I don't currently autocross, but I do like to take my corners hard.

Please don't tell me to get the teins, if I were going that high in price, I'd break down and get the JICs, which leads me to the next statement, unless you can get me the JICs for under 1500, please don't suggest those either (out of my budget).

Any body here run both the mazdaspeed adjustable struts and/or the MSP (or even the MP3) setup?

There are also the Teins which aren't really comparable to the JIC's, but the do typically go for less than $1300. They are height and damper adjustable and in my opinion, if you can't afford the JIC's definately consider the Teins. If you can't afford the Tein's, definately go for either the Mazdaspeed/MP3 struts and Ground Control/Skunk2 coilovers. Wheelguru, a fellow member on this message board just recently upgraded to the JIC's and he may still have his MP3 struts and Ground Control coilovers for sale. I think he was asking about $750 or $800 for both and the are already assembled so it would be a simple install. If you'd like me to get a hold of him to see if he still has them, shoot me a PM.

So tell me this, ...

Would you pay 700 for, .. Cool.

Or would you shell out 1500 for, ... OH MY GOD!! ?

What if your budget was only 900?

I currently have the Tein HA package I have bought for my RX7 and they are great for the price. I paid 900 plus shipping and they do the job great. I agree JIC's are better but I couldn't justify the cost for my driving habits.

Ultimately, it's just like Street KingFD said. He knew what was better, but he's going for what best suits his driving style/habits. So you gotta go with what you think you'll need.

What sucks is that Tein doesn't make a suspension for the protege that has independent ride height and spring preload. So if you are staying conservative with your lowering it will be fine. But if you want to slam and still ride cool you'll be kinda screwed.
