If anyone is interested in purchasing a spicy orange MSP in central PA at a car dealership, let me know. I know of one that is for sale and the dealership is finding it hard to sell.. email me at osirislink@hotmail.com for directions to the dealership. My dad is a salesman at the dealership and requested that I post this forum, he said if the person references my name to him, you will get sticker price. Thanks, and hope to get some emails.

Hmm, they're having trouble selling it, and so by doing them a favor and buying it I can get sticker price? I'll pass on it (just like I did on the last orange one I had an opportunity to buy for sticker price.)

Yeah, that's pretty funny. It's almost worth driving all the way to PA to buy it, if I can get at sticker price...

Well it's really rare to get the sticker price. My dealership said that they're adding at least around $3000.

very rare, especially since only 1500 are in north america, good luck to all who attempt to buy a MSP for sticker price at a dealership

I do not know any MSP owners on this board that paid a penny over MSRP. I am sure dealers will try and get more than MSRP but that is where you say NO and offer MSRP. I felt like I was taken for a ride at MSRP since every other car purchase I have gotten at or below "invoice."

if anyone pays over sticker price for their MSP I feel bad for them. I feel like a scmuck for paying sticker on my MP3...
They may be having a tough time selling it because who the hell would pay more than sticker on a car, that if you look enough, you can find one for under sticker...believe me, for the months following my MP3 purchase, i was sickend by the fact that if I had waited, I could have gotten it cheaper...
Also, its generally bad business practice to sell cars for over sticker, well, for any dealership that values their customer (though that is tough to find anyway )
Give it 6mos, you'll be able to find an MSP somewhere still...hell, there might even be an MP3 laying around somewhere at some dealership that is still trying to sell it for 2k over sticker...

im from PA and am not looking to get a MSP until the 2003.5's hit the dealers but am wondering which dealer this is I live outside philly. i am one of the lucky people covered under Fords Z plan which i think last i checked is 2% under invoice i could be totally off i will look into the specifics closer to when i am ready to buy.

I think that jacking the price up for the MSP is prob making people look at another car since 23000 for a sport compact is a little high people can buy a decently equipped mazda 6 for that price or a few thousand more for the RX8 if they are willing to wait.
