Effing BAD ASS!

The Exhaust system is finished, One Piece... 11 Feet Long. I needed to borrow a truck to get it home.

so clean! very nice work
I just finished reading the whole thread, 1hours later
I also have such detail for Perfection, but no budget -_- .... .... .... yet!

^Nice, thanks for looking at the thread.. I am from Montreal and go to some meets there hosted by CPQ..

I have three of them.

The front two are Logged and Used by the Haltech to maintain AFR.

The one in the rear is connected to the AEM UEGO, I want it far for several reasons...

1. It will stay closer to 1000 Deg F which will make it more reliable and durable over time.
2. The gasses will have more time to mix, so it will display smother and be a truer readout.

It's pretty bad ass, the wire is covered with fireproof silicone and the chassis has a rubber gromet so it is totally sealed. The wire runs along the natural curves under the carpet protected in a tube.

Brian, you should go work for a Car company's R&D department seeing as how you build, test, design beautifully. I've heard that Mercedes' R&D department will at times spend $1M an hour researching and testing

Thanks for the compliment, but I have spent since 1991 in the profession of arms, and have deployed on 6 tours to places where people are running away from. I don't think that the starting salary at an R&D company would come close to what I am making now. Plus, a hobby is fun, you get to enjoy it as you do it... When a Hobby becomes a Job, there are deadlines and money involved... It becomes less fun.

The army as a profession seems like I am getting paid to do what I would want to do anyway...

your friend did a nice job on the exhaust! hope you got him a few

That and I shoved a fist full of money in his pocket... Seriously, he didn't want to be paid, but I told him... You are working past 11 Pm during a week day for me... I am Effing Paying you.

Makes more sense than some people know. I was just interested and aiding your knowledge and experience to the world. I think the Military is a fantastic place to be. We're in different countries and I still appreciate what you do

Yes, That is what this is... but even my "Bolt Ons" are fully custom...

All of it needed to be changed because the turbo is diferent, I needed a mid section, and O2 Bungs.

Excellent. Why did you go with the divorced wastegate? I havent done much research on the subject, but is there an advantage (power wise) to doing so?

Dumping the WG to the ground reduces the volume of Exhaust trying to get out the tail pipe..

The overall effect is that there is less resistance in the system, so a larger difference in pressure before and after the turbine.. means faster and lower spool.

That coupled with a completely catless system should help the GT30 behave like a smaller turbo and hit quicker and lower.

This picture is decieving, It looks like the tubes are attached but they are not.

There are three tubes there.. The DP, The Charge pipe to the FMIC and the Dump from the WG.
