i just bought mazdaspeed protege spring for my mazda protege5. can someone tell me how low will they make my mp5 go? i also put lips on my car to.

not too sure how low they will go, but coulda sworen someone mentioned that your rear end will sag, not sure if thats correct tho..

There's been a lot said about the MSP springs on a P5. Most complaints are that the back end "sags" because of the weight difference between the sedan and the hatch (or that the front end sits too high). Run a search for mazdaspeed springs and you should come across plenty of pics to illustrate. I also want to say that the drop is pretty subtle, .75" on the front and back.

it does not "sag", that is the incorrect way to look at it as it implies something is wrong etc.

The rear spring perches are lower on the P5 from what I understand, or also the P5 OEM springs are an extra coil longer; along with differences in the wheel arch position makes the rear look lower than the front.

The front will look about .5" higher than the rear from what I can see. You can be ok with it or you can try to lower the front to match the rear, or get MSP rear struts so that they raise up .5" to match the fronts.

I'm considering using MSP springs and adjusting them for even ride height. If I do it I'll report back.

yeah, just trying to get an idea of how much the front really needs to come down before I get into it.
