MP5 quirks?

What do you people do with the little slot under the fog light switch? Its not big enough to fit CD cases in. I usually stick my sunglasses in, but it seems like a wastes hole. If there is such a thing...

currently, i have a tin of altoids in there..

Another great thing about the P5... when the seats fold down in the back, and you remove the hatch cover... there is ample room for a little BOW CHICKA BOW WOWWWW with your girly!!!! GOD MAZDA THINKS OF EVERYTHING!!

OK...I'm in the minorty here cause I read my manual front to back before I got the car -- I downloaded it, so I have one in the car and on the pc. btw, I use the little cubby under the light switches to stash my garage door remote. I hate attaching it to the sunvisor.

Also, supposedly the passenger seat folds flat, but there's nothing in the manual about it. I hafta go try that now....BRB.

i don't think the passenger seat folds flat on the US-SPec..

I do know that the interior light goes off if you leave the door open for a few minutes. What I'm not sure of is that little thing next to the foglight switch. It might be a coin holder but only a quarter stays in it and that flops all around. Maybe it's sized for Japanese coins.

Ping...i put...um...four quarters, 3 nickels and 3 dimes in there. But it's a b**** to get out! And they rattle if you don't fill it. UGH! I hate loose change in the cupholder, so I'll live with it.

My only gripe...not to make this a b**** session...is no light in the glove box. If that's all I b**** about, then this is a kickin' car!!!!

Ok...going to check out the passenger seat now....

Don't know about the seat thing but the dome lights do go off after awhile, I love it.

i think it sucks that when you're playing a CD on random, if you hit the search or skip buttons the random function turns off.

Old thread, but maybe you should spray a little lithium grease in the key holes every once in a while to make sure they will still be working. :)

Good idea...I never thought that I would need to use those dayam things and then I thought about what my remote runs on....A BATTERY!!! It would be funny if one day the dayam remote dies on me and the friggin' key breaks right in the hole.

Who has noticed the little hook on the bottom of the cargo area cover, corresponding with the loop on the spare tire cover, placed there to hold the cover up? I never would've noticed this unless I read the manual. I thought it was a nice touch, since I've wrestled with holding spare tire covers up while getting the tire out countless times on other cars.

Yeah I noticed that when I read the manual. I turned to my wife in the car and shared my enthusiasm...she just gave me a weird look.

Is there any way to pause a CD playing besides turning it off?!

And the little coin thingie is for quarters... they fit perfectly and never fall out. I think it fits 2 dollars worth.

I've wondered this same thing.

Yeah, and I just noticed yesterday that there's a button on the door that, when pressed, opens the window :D

I'm sorry, I just find this all too funny. Didn't you guys get to look at the car when you bought it? I mean, I remember I made sure to know every single feature it had (well, ok, the whole 30 second alarm relock thing was new to me after I bought it)

I totally agree with u~~;)

Quick question...does anyones rear wiper wipe while washing. I could've sworn mine did it in the beginning but not anymore.
