MP5 Front lip

I've been looking for a front lip for a long time and it seems as if no one makes them anymore.
I just found this one on ebay. Is there anything I should watch out for when buying one?

That's a DG lip.
Protege garage sells them and DG them selves.Wish i could get it that cheap

looks to be a authentic dg lip, you can usually see the fiberglass in the crappy duraflex replicas

yeah i thought protegegarage still has DG urethane and CF lips. Which themselves are also 'replicas', as the original design was from the JDM greatness that is AutoExe.

Still though, if its in good shape...$170 is a great price...I just never understood how anyone could use these with a even slightly lowered protege...i couldn't get out of my own driveway with one unless i was close to stock ride height, let alone the multiple rail road crossings i'd have to limp over.

Oddly enough I can get in my driveway with a lowered car and the replica lip. My other car I have to take the front lip off.

Appears to be Urethane, but i haven't seen many 'untouched' pics of the urethane lip...Not sure if they are just naturally that color, or if this has already been prepped or painted...

but what do you mean by standing on end? It would probably do that if it was CF, urethane, or fiberglass...urethane has by far the most flex of the 3, fiberglass is strong but brittle...and CF is ridiculously strong, but will remain very stiff once the resin sets...so if any of them would collapse from their own weight, it would be the urethane...I guess that could be a primered/painted fiberglass lip (as the seller would mention if it was CF for pricing purposes)...but who knows...

I would ask for an installed pic, if its a knockoff most have terrible fitment issues even the DG ones have fitment issues.
