MP3 Wheels on a P5

I was thinking about picking up a set of MP3 wheels for my P5. I ran a few searches and nothing concrete about them.

I assume they fit with no rubbing etc with the stock MP3 size tires, etc ??

Anyone have a pic of a set on a P5??

From what I've seen here, there are no problems or anything at all with fitment on a P5.

I can't help but notice in your sig... GMC Typhoon... A 1.895 0-60ft time? AWD must be soooooooo damn fun. :) *DROOL*

They should fit with no problems or modifications whatsoever. There is a member on here with a P5 that has the Racing Harts off the MP3 and he posted pics. I can't remember what thread it was in, but you might try doing a search.

they should fit fine, most people don't get em tho because they are 17"s that weigh about 22lbs. Assumign you are going for race

That looks familiar!

Hey azeli73, thanks for posting my car gallery up here.

SR20DET, as azeli73 said, I got mine from the dealer on the car already. They are sweet, they don't rub or anything. The weight is negligable. You can get a set here...

Mazdaformance

Click on the link then got to the "Aftermarket & Performance Products" link and then the "Wheels" link. They are $280.00 each, and they look awesome. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I wouldn't consider a 6 lbs different "neglegible" .... but you won't really notice it too much in daily driving.

not only weigh 6lbs more, but the weight is farther out, so it's even harder to turn as opposed to 22lb 16"s

There have been a couple here in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham to have already done that, there is not rubbing, mounting, and no problems for that matter. They fit very nicely. For instance, the yellow P5 that i have run across has a three inch drop cambered with Tien coilovers that did not have any irregular treadwear nor rubbing. Go for it man

heavy and expensive. why someone would pay over $1000 for these wheels is beyond me. for that price you could get something that is as big, stronger, and lighter.

Well I got the MP3 rims on my ES and they feel lighter then my stock 16,s did. Also they look really nice on a Mica red. I was going to get 5zigen fighters, but I think I am going to stay with the MP3 rims now. Is their a fact somewhre that says the weight is 22lbs., because they dont feel like 22 lbs.. Also after I had them installed it felt like my car excellerated quicker also.
