Mp3 Vs M6

I was driving around 140km/h on highway, suddently a Mazda chase me from behind (I though it's a P5 at the beginning).
Then he pass me, and I see that it's a Mazda6, then I keep follow him, pass him off again, then he switch lanes, pass me again...I try to caught up, but can't caught up on straight way! I see it's has dual exhaust, so I gues it's a 220hp V6 M6!!!

Then I just follow him for a while, then I take the exit and go home....

Even I lost it (I suppose to be), it's fun....
Do you think I can caught it if it's a 4 cycl. M6?

even the 4 cyl's have dual exhaust. And their really tiny pipes too on both them and the 6's

Catch it? CAn't say I tried. The 4 cyl is not bad around town, pretty peppy, but on the highway it dies...no power left. At least that's how I felt. I've driven 3 now.

If it's a 4 cylc. it's 160hp, right?
But the M6 I met last night still has some power to puah up after 160km/h....

I can still follow him, but can't pass it..

I own a M6 S 5-speed and also a MP3. The MP3 will no where in straightaway keep up with it. The MP3 has topend advantage, meaning a higher topspeed, since supposely the 6S is limited to a 120MPH topspeed, while the MP3 is (Draglimited) and have been over 130MPH. But from stoplight to stoplight or even up to 120MPH the MP3 will be about 8-10 car's behind the 6S. From highway speeds, swithching gears the MP3 won't be that bad behind, But if it were 0-60 whatever then you won't even stand a chance.:(

Watch what I do to one of those cars after my turbo'd automatic is tuned by Perfworks.

You Might be quicker in the 0-60 1/4mile range, But up to a 120MPH it'll still be quicker. The 6S has strong pull up from 0-120mph Especially if you were to go that speed's. you might pull on the V-6 5-speed Automatic, but i still doubt it with the 5-speed 6S. If you read C&D test magazine.

5-speed 6S.

0-60..6.8sec
0-70..8.8sec
0-80..10.9sec
0-90..13.7sec
0-100..17.0sec
0-110..21.0sec
0-120..26.5sec

yeah, I see that the M6 still have some power to go, where my MP3 can't push anymore.... :(

Depending what kind of racing you are talking about, I knoe the MP3 can't catch most cars such as the M6. I mean yes it is possible to follow and give it a run for its money but overall, it just pulls. I mean its basically fun to follow any car on the hills and on the turns. But on a straight away, there is no top end for the MP3. :-( I have my share of victories and losses. I knoe stock, the car can handle most civics and accords, but well, GS-Rs, way out of my league. And how come I can keep up with stock IS-300s??? Well at least the automatics.... :-(...... I need more power....

You said your MP3 can stay close to a IS300 on a highway?
Was you dreaming or that guy not even pushing his car.....

Lol maybe... Cuz I raced my homeboy with an IS and killed me... So thinkin to myself ok ya... Just last nite, I saw that IS i kept up with. Turns out its just and accord with and IS rear conversion... Oh well....
