mp3 throw CEL with P5 ecu?

as the title say, will my MP3 throw a CEL with a P5 ecu?

yes.

it is because there is no VIC*(someone correct me) in the intake manifold.

They both have VICS, the MP3 doesn't have *VTCS* which the P5 does. VTCS is for emissions during cold starts. This is why there is a CEL.

audio try to contact apex motorsports in tempe, az...they might be able to have a fix for you...if it works for that just like it works for the no-cat converter fix, its like 22.95+shipping...and also make sure you trade ME for the damn ECU!!!

Pretty sure everything but the MP3 (and most likely MSP) have VTCS, so yeah... ES 2.0, LX, P5 will throw CELs.

Yes, you will have no luck swapping ECUs if you want to do it without triggering a CEL.

so get an intake manifold or cut the wire to the CEL light and zoom zoom you are off to hell with emissions law anyhow
