MP3 = theft magnet

My MP3 was broken into at 4:00am this morning! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

The two guys broke my drivers front window with a screwdriver, and proceded to try and pry the cd/mp3 player from the dash.

They must have been amateurs however, casue they failed to disable the alarm, dispite cutting some wires under the hood. All that they ended up making off with were the trim around the cd player, and the remote. wierd The police showed up and chased them for a few blocks before they were eluded by the perps superior speed. They even eluded the police dogs, who were thrown off by the smell of a jacket they discarded. One guy even bled all over my hood, from a cut on his hand. I guess the glass got a little revenge.

I had to replace the window of course, and I think I got an alright deal.
$135 for the window install
$32.38 for the tint
$12 for the new remote (albeit not the exact one, but it works nontheless)
and the guy threw in a trim for me, I guess he felt sorry?

All I can say is thank God for concerned (or annoyed) neighbors who call the police cause your alarm is going off while they try to sleep.

and the remote I got is actually kinda nicer than the original... its a newer model Kenwood remote.

A few months later, my stereo was stolen while I was inside tha club...:mad: Those bastards really helped me get a better system though...(evil)

thanks, I have to say that these 5 spokes really look huge on the car. I'm sure its the machined lip that does it, but it does kinda make my brakes look small

the cop said it would cost too much for my small-time $12 theft (if you go by how much it cost to replace what was actually stolen)

hey man really sorry to hear about your car, someone tried to steal my Z28 out of my driveway in dallas but my dad heard the alarm and proceeded outside with (not to sound gangsta or anything) glock, the suprised dumbass ended up running down the street, trippped, got back up, ran into a parked car, then hobbled down the street. i was to busy laughing to chase him.

Yeah, thanks guys, I can roll it down now. And I didn't have to miss it too much, cause I just got back from being out of town for 4 days, so I didn't have to sit there on really nice days with the windows up.

On a side note, I DIDN'T leave my car at home when I was out, I think that would of been colossaly stupid.
