MP3 pictures please...

Can anyone take a couple pictures of the stock MP3 muffler, from behind and under the car, as well as the engine (without the cover on) and the intake area and post them here? I know it is a lot to ask, or perhaps there are some pics already on the forum somewhere...

this might help..

BTW this is still 4 sale, the last buyer fell through because i never gotthe flange off and i delayed to long. I had to grind the bolts off, so it needs new ones to install it. PM if interested.

The muffler, exhaust tip, intake components (filter box and air intake, plumbing leading to the intake plenum)

If you could do it, StutterC, that would be great.

The muffler is posted above.

I can't help you on the intake, my intake is gone johnson.

Yeah, I just got it... thanks paulmp3, and I pm'd you also. Thanks stutterc..., if anyone else has a picture of at least the stock engine compartment??

Muffler: wanted to make sure I remembered what it looked like... ie. the oval pipe. Looking to purchase one.

Intake: wanted to see the differences in the intake from the MP3 and a P5 (if any), and to see if the MP3 has a different ignition system...

The only difference per the peices you are asking about is the exhuast on the MP3 is a few inches longer then on the p5

Here is a picture of my MP3. If you want more pictures you can visit my web site.

Thanks TXMazdaSpeeder, the MP3 has the same intract as the P5... I guess I'll manufacture my own CAI... I'll post pics in the spring when I get around to it.

Thanks everyone!!

alot better throttle response and 4th gear pulls a little now instead of just being there. only thing is some people dont liek how my engine is now louder than hell.

Really? It changes the sound that much? I would like a light growl, but certainly don't want it classified as loud...

I want to try to make an intake that still uses a "filter box", just one that is a little less restrictive and ingests the coolest air possible. Probably out of aluminum to start, but if it works I know someone that could mold it in plastic... like I said, when I get around to it in the spring, I will post pics, and hopefully get some dyno results of stock vs. prototype.

its not an obnoxious loud but i'll put it this way, my friend has an 89 Iroc with flowmaster 40 series and no cats, and we raced and he said he could here my engine over his exhaust, i couldn't hear his exhaust period. we'll see how loud it gets when i put the header, high flow cat, and cat back on it.
