Incorrect.

The normal FS-ZE cam gear FSH9 (?) is the same cam gear used by JDM FS-DE engines. According to spoon the cam in his car is FS9 which is the cam used my the Mazdaspeed Familia in Japan. The cam is special in that there was only ever 209 made. Of those there are two sets the good set, and the less so. Mazda had to revise the cam due to idle problems in cold weather there was an optional recall also issued IIRC. ProtegeFAQ will have more information on it

Cam gears are sold but they are identical to fsde, no difference. I still have both cams, nobody seems to understand what these cams are. P5 exhaust cam lol, the revised mazdaspeed cams are not going to have an fs9 part #. It is fs1e. This is a steal for somebody theres a good chance youll never see these cams again.

There not normal ze cams guys. See my previous post, where I mention cam gear replace with cam I had a brain fart there

That and the exhaust cam isnt fsh9.

with a proper tune, you can net around 12hp if your using the ze pistons.

with a mp3 ecu, no high-comp pistons, maybe 5-8hp

in this car the ze motor with these cams and mp3 ecu, and full bolt-ons put down 163whp on a dynojet
