Moving to Florida

I'm moving to Zephyr Hills Florida tomorrow, I currently live in Houston. Woo hoo I finally get to leave this Hell HOLE!! LOL!!

The town in florida is pretty small. The closest major city to it is Tampa, and that is about an hour away.

I'm so glad to get out of Houston, there's just too many people here, and most of them are foreign. (Middle Eastern, and Indian)

Can I give a shout out to all those living in FLA?

Well, the one's that live here are fresh off the boat from Iran, Iraq, India.....let's just say they were riding camels last week, and are now driving lexus and mercedes; they run you over.

They act like you are living in their country and think that they have more of a right to be here. They have no sense of equality; they act like they're better than you.

I work in a pharmacy and all these people come into the pharmacy driving bmw's, mercedes, lexus, but they are on medicaid. NO JOKE!!! Almost every middle eastern person that comes into my pharmacy is on medicaid. So in essence I am paying for their 3 free perscriptions every month so they can spend their money on their car and apartment...because apartments aren't cheap in Houston.

The only reason this is a land of opportunity for them is because they can move here and not pay a dime for anything, they get gov't help while the poor elder americans all over the country are fighting for prescription benefits. Then to pour salt into the wound they turn around and fly some planes into the very symbol of what our free country stands for.

I'm an American, you are coming to my country. Learn to respect the people that are providing you the ability to live free.

Given it's not everyone, I can't say that EVERY foreigner is like this, but a vast majority that live here are, and I can say this because I live with them and see how they act everyday.

But enough of this off topic stuff....TELL ME ABOUT THE HOT WOMENS IN FLORIDA LMAO!!!

sorry to stray from the point of the topic, and sorry if it sounds like I'm flaming you, but that was perhaps the most blatantly generalistic, uninformed, and overall ignorant blanket explanation for immigration and American Patriotism I've ever heard.

The United States is all about immigration. Our history is immigration. A TRUE AMERICAN is an native American Indian, whom your "true Americans" kicked off of their land.

I don't know who you are or what your history is, but I bet that your ancestors immigrated here from another country, and I'm sure that they met with opposition just like you...who felt that there were too many foreigners who were *exploiting* everything.

this country is as much everyone else's as it is yours.

your desire to move away from immigrating ethnic minorities is a futile attempt...

if you want to live with other melanin-challenged people instead of learning to live with others, you'd better strap on your overalls and start eating mayonnaise sandwiches on your turnip farm...

Sounds like Liberals in here.

First off when my anchestor came over on a ship from Russia they came with nothing and worked there way up the ladder. Our name was changed due to the irish who ran elise island in New York. My great grandfather built the railroads of the mid west. Then after doing all this he served in ww II and korean war. After that he got zip from the government for aid.

But today these foreigns come over with there money. Get medicare and 1% fixed mortage on a house. Also they can get small business loans faster then myself who was born here.

I say if they like there country so much they should stay there. Then they cry america help my family then they send our tax dollars over there and we still get screwed. US children need the money rather then ak mon who owns a 7-11, and an oil well back home.

I did not kick the indians off there property. I never had slaves. and hmmmm. I think its time to close our borders my two cents for today.

it's definitely a sad sign of the times when xenophobia is so prevalent that even basic common sense and logical deduction is forgotten. looks like I'll have to explain in plain english using monosyllabic words:

1. your grandpa was once a foreigner
2. your grandpa was given a chance
3. your grandpa was not judged
4. your grandpa lived the american dream
5. your grandpa had sex and gave birth to your parents...
6. who gave birth to you...
7. who should learn to give others a chance...
8. regardless of who they are, what they do, or where they're from

America is a land of opportunity. let others discover that.

I'm as conservative Republican as a card-carrying lifetime NRA member (I'm not in the NRA though). I was in the Army. I did my time. however...

I am also an immigrant...who would fight for the United States...who volunteered to join the army...who did several tours in other countries to ensure that I and Ahmed and Yao-Ming and yes, even you, Billy Bob, still have the freedom to do what you please and be completely oblivious to everything else.

do you even realize that if we close our borders, the United States will fail? do you realize that immigrants are farming your food, are cleaning your Starbucks bathrooms, are serving you food at McDonalds?

but no. you get scared when immigrants are driving BMW's. you get scared when immigrants are making executive decisions and owning large companies.

most of all, you get scared when you tell them, "would you like fries with that?"
