Mounting mp3 player

Anyone have a good solution for this? I have a creative zen micro and I wanted to get it mounted on my dash somewhere. I ended up buying a standard stick-on mount off of amazon figuring I could fit it somewhere around or modify it to work somewhere. I really don't have alot of options it seems, I just don't know about the sticky pad, it's rather large. I thought about screwing the mount directly into the long trim peice below the vents but I figure I'd hold off and see if any of you guys have some creative solutions for this. why not simply get one that clips into the air vents instead of drilling holes in the dash of the car???would you buy a car with holes in it?its up to you,but youd never see me do that,i d rather put it in the seat....(boom02)

I don't really like the idea of clipping it onto the vents. I don't plan on selling the car anytime soon, I just bought it a few weeks ago . If for whatever reason I got sick of it, I'd probably just buy the piano black peice from the 08.5's and replace it with that. Whatever though, I'm just looking for suggestions. I appreciate the input but I'd rather not do vent clips.
