Mounting guages in piece above glovebox

Yeah that is dumbkeola's car. He had it custom made at a local stereo shop. It may not look good if you just look at that pic but if you see his whole car then you will see that it goes together with the theme of his car (White on White).

i have three autometer guages mounted above my glove box, on the dotted cover. go to www. krazzykonceptz.com look under members rides. second pic silver p5 i have them angled towards me , have no problem. e-mail or PM me for better pics

I think the gauges look great. I painted all of my gray interior pieces blue, so gauges like that with a blue background I think would look tight, but that's just me.

Where'd you get them and how much?

i bought the guages from keystone. and it cost about $80 to install, $20 for the angle cups and about $50 to diconect the airbag.... guages and all about $250-$300

7" monitor

Do you think it would be possible to mount a monitor in the dotted area abouve the glove box. Does that peice actually come out though to mount stuff onto it, and do you have to diconnect the airbag to do it

you have to disconect the airbag . remove about 10 screws and then the cover will come off. there, isn't much room back there. it is actually a vent duc. your better off molding it where you radio is and put your radio down where the bottom cubby hole is.

in order to di connect the airbag do i have to disconnect the battery first or can i just unplug the thing. Is it the wire behid the glovebox?

dont take out your airbag for a screen, especially for a streetdriven car. if you have a show car, trust me, judges have seen it before so it's not going to net you many points, if any at all.

it's not for show. it's so I have the coputer on a separate screen from my in dash monitor so I can run the AGPS and network stummbler
