has anyone dremmeled out the "dotted" piece above the glove box and put three guages in there, and then sent the piece to like DaveB or someone and had brushed rings put around them? i think that would look bad ass and i keep looking at that space thinking about trying it (even though im not turbo'd).

Well, I think that would
1) be pretty damn far away from the driver and out of the line of sight and
2) probably not good for the airbag system and
3) should the airbag not deploy you could crack someone's skull with gauges jutting out.
Mostly, it's just impractical. But good creativity.

not the piece where the airbag comes out, but the piece that DGM sells a CF replacement overlay for.
as for being far away, ive stared and stared and it doesnt seem too bad, but being just for show purposes mostly...something totally different.

From what I remember that is a finished piece ... all painted to match the owners exterior.
