Sounds impressive. To bad it looks like it does... I wanted a WRX so bad. I had settled in 2000 for a Y2K civic, 3 weeks later the WRX came out. I was pissed. I hunted after one for a long time but could NOT justify that 27k sticker price. Then the speed came out, it was settled! I dont care if it is faster, it should be, you pay more for it!

Yea becuause it had every feature on it. You can get a base model for 25k.

I am sure the new sti is going to be a beast most like 330+ hp.

Pricing isnt out yet is it? No way a base WRX is going to be 25k, last years wasnt, why would the upgraded one be? The Impreza GT (last years WRX) will be 25k.

Yep, just looked. 24995 then 695 destination... $500 for the 5 door though. LOL... That impreza 2.5 GT is 26-28. That is strange. You start getting into options on that WRX though to match a speed3 GT and you are up there. Still cheaper than the outgoing WRX. You are going to see them every where now.

Yea but I still like the suby more, but I am content with the mazda.

Its been awhile since subaru has stepped up there game, if the sti is going to be a pontent as I hope it will be I may just have to pick one up and sell all the project cars.

that's an insane price for a sub 5 second 0-60 car. When I first started driving, 7-8 second 0-60 was fooking fast.

Exactly, ive seen people blow there axle's launching to hard on youtube, and its gotta be hard on the clutch too? But yea those times are quick, id like to be in one when launching and feel it!
