I know that people go round and round about this, but I have heard that SLS vibrate less than the AWR but I hear a lot of people going with the AWR and there have been instances of breakage lately with the SLS (weld failing). The StreatUnit Front Mount is supposedly better on vibration than the AWR but stronger than the SLS. I would love to hear some thoughts...I will definitely do the front at some point, but I would like to have the option of adding side or even rear mounts as well, and would like to stay in the same company for all the mounts. Are side inserts really a good option for reducing vibration...I use a/c sometimes, need to reduce my drivetrain lash but I DON'T want to feel .like I am riding a blender whenever I drive. I would love to hear some thoughts.
LOL. Learning to drive with mounts like that would be crazy! As in "intense."motor mounts are awesome. dont know much about the awr side inserts but they will stiffen up your ride. read those threads with the sls mounts cracking. i do believe its isolated events. i got the sls front and passenger side motoe mount and i love umm. no problems as of yet "3000+miles" and i pound the sh!t out of my car. i even let my cousin and her friend attempt to learn how to drive standard for the first time and the put the mounts to the test for about an hour. no breakage on either mounts. you will get a lot more vibrations through your car. people see this as a down side but i like it.

Too bad you aren't closer, today I'm going to do the side inserts and I still have to get to the rear insert sometime... Sveivo, is it hard to do?
Lucky, I spent 4 hrs doing doing the driver side mount because the last bolt on the inside of the mount and no matter what type of socket I used so finally I gave up and broke the bolts on the transmission to take out the bracket. Along with breaking the bolts loose, I broke my dad's socket wrench and cut up 2 fingers. Overall though, it's fun, just time consuming and painful if you don't have the right tools.
