Motor Mounts

I think I may have a broken...or on the way out...motor mount. What are the symptoms (it's the 1 on the pulley side on the engine) of a motor mount going out? And if possible, could some1 plz post a pic of the engine bay that points out the locations of all the mounts?

i have a manual transmission. The mazda motor mounts are very weak.well when i broke my motor mount, when shifting gears, the shifter would just knock really hard, even when i let off the gas/and pushed gas again. Its a big pain. However i bought the AWR motor mounts, and they are absolutely amazing. The mount that broke on me was when you pop your hood, look to the right of the airboxon the ground;near the transmission. The bolt was gone, and the freakin rubber was ripped..it got pretty messed up. hope this helps...

My passenger side went out first then the rear. The rear and the front are more visible from under the car. I noticed mine going out when my exhaust started rattling due to the motor having more movement. You can visually check if they are toasted.

Yeahhh, I think it's gone. Are there any replacements that would still be considered "stock" that will last me a little longer? I Auto-x it and getting those motor mounts would bump me up a class, something I don't really want to do. If there aren't any, how much are oem replacements?

Any1 write a how-to to change em yet?

The passenger side was like around $250-350 only as an assembly I can't remember exactly. Check a salvage yard that would be your best bet maybe $50 at the most. I pulled mine out and used some 2 part 85 durometer polyurethane on all but the driver side. Never got to that one.

Now I'm wondering if mine are starting to go since my CAI bangs against the inner wheel well and my exhaust rattles. I don't have th shifter jumping syptom though.

Ok, are all the motor mounts the same? Cuz advance only has 2 parts listed under motor mounts...but a search also brought up transmission mounts...whatever. I know I need a motor mount but I don't know if they're all the same or if there's a specific one I need...

nope, they are different, you can't put a rear mount on the side and stuff like that

captain krm p5 sells the oem ones. i bought just the rear for 89 shipped and i think hes selling all 4 for 269
