Who has used the AWR pass. side motor mount insert from prtegegarge?

Mines out and needs replaced and was going to replace it next week, just wanted to see what your guys thoughts were. To me it just doesnt make sence to repalce it with the oem one. 65,xxxmiles one it, and I plan on keeping this car till the wheels fall off.

Also who has used the shifter bushings from them too?? sorry for all the questions.
I just want to buy it One time and replace it one time, and hope it lasts longer than the OEM one.
Thanks for the help

I installed the shifter bushings in mine, I highly recommend you do it. They aren't expensive and the shifting difference is fantastic!

Thanks Balls!!!(never thought I would say that lol) By the way do you have a short throw in your wagon also?

I have a set of 3 SLS solid motor mounts (no tranny mount) for $140 shipped.

I have the AWRs...and bought them from Ken...I love them.
But the inserts are just that---inserts.
If your Motor Mount is actually broken then you'll need to replace it, too.

spicy, i just need the rear, my other ones were replaced be the previous owner, they are urathane, let me know if you can sell the rear alone, + pics! thanks

I'm going to sound like a tard here but.....On the SLS ones, how much will I notice the stiffness, as its just daily driven? Good or bad Idea? Heck I might just make my own.....we will see. Does anyone know the durometer that they use in the sls?

i have a solid passenger mount, its so horrible. Car shakeslike a clunker. Im going back to OEM , enuf said

Well I decided that I'm just going to machine my own.
It will look kinda like the sls one but way different at the same time.
Just got done with all my measurements!!!
Also just picked up my urathane, and is suppose to be an 85-90durometer. (Man I hate working with that crap!)
I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on something that looks like that, to me their is not much there for the money, just my 2cents. And I have scrap laying around I can use!!
I will post pics when I get some of the work done! WISH me luck.

Anyone know if the passenger, front, and rear motor mounts are any different for a P5 with an auto tranny compared to a MSP? As, in can I use mounts for a MSP on my P5 with an auto?

Thanks Balls!!!(never thought I would say that lol) By the way do you have a short throw in your wagon also?

Yes I do, one of the ebay specials. Works quite well and actually seems to be of pretty decent quality.

Awsome Balls! I was thinking about the el-cheap-o ebay one too. I cut the top half of my shifter off when we bought it new, didnt care for the extra long trucker style shifter lol

Well made some progress today!!!(alright)
Got both parts made and all tig'ed up. Made the bushings. Gona try and get the bolt tonight after work, and might try for a test fit also tonight. Then paint!!

Will post more pics later.
(sorry for the crapy b.b. cell phone photos.)
